Volunteering as a Tutor can be a tremendous blessing for those participating in our weekly English as a Second Language (ESL) and Language Café programs. You will have the opportunity to assist women and men as they learn to speak English. Students work in both large and small groups learning a lesson and strengthening conversation skills. Tutors can use a given curriculum and lesson frameworks to create lessons. You do not have to speak any language besides English to volunteer in this role.
